For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul.

A rekindling experience of love through imagery.

Snyder Engagement | Engagement Photographer Monroe Files Photography DuBois, PA

SOOO excited for these two!! We have been waiting FOREVER for Jessi & Pat to finally get engaged! Pat did it up goooood too! On a trip to Las Vegas (they swore they weren't going there to elope!) Pat took Jessi to the very top of the Eiffel Tower and got down on one knee in front of everyone and asked Jessi to marry him! So romantic!! Congrats you two!! And you will have the cutest flower girls ever at your wedding! =)
Can I just say again how excited I am?!

Bahahaha!! I said, "Bend down to kiss her, I can only see your profile for the most part."
And Pat did a butt pop!

Looooove this!

My love is like WHOA, another favorite!

And I like this one too! June 2012 will be here fast!!

Burford Wedding | Wedding Photographer Monroe Files Photography DuBois, PA

A gorgeous fall wedding! The church smelled amazing...the aisle was sprinkled with rose petals down both sides. The weather was perfect and they couldn't have asked for a better day!

Beautiful Bride

Stephanie was a DIY diva!

Besides the red shoes (they were platform stilettos...and I am two left feet!) I want all their shoes!

The Handsome man of the day

Love this =)

Stephanie is tons of fun! They are the perfect match of fun loving and serious romance.

Favorite!! Bling and rose petals

"Oh honey, you missed a spot. Let me get that cake I smashed off your nose!"

See the rest of the party here!

I've been published! | Monroe Files Photography DuBois, PA

Ok, so not exactly published, but I had one of my photos from the First Friday Events hosted in Down Town DuBois on the new kiosk by Jack's Men's Clothing & Boutique Store.
The finished chalk portrait by Maryann Fyda of Peaceable Kingdom.

The new kiosk down town. It has since changed but I was pretty excited to see my photo up there!
I saw it on godubois.com and ran over to snap a picture of it with my Sony cybershot that lives in my purse.

Thank you! | Monroe Files Photography DuBois, PA

Just wanted to let you all know how much I love my clients!! =)

Thank you for letting me show your families what a fantastic couple you are!
Can't wait for New Years!!! Whoop Whoop!

LOVE this album!!

Peekie boo!!

Becca | Portait Photographer Monroe Files Photography DuBois, PA

Meet Becca, my younger sister by 12 years who is an aspiring model/photographer. If you would have told me 14 years ago that she would be taller than myself, I probably would have laughed in your face. And, add insult to injury, she ALWAYS wears super high heels! I bust out the heels once in a great while, mostly because I have a tendency to be clumsy and clumsy + high heels = disaster. =)
We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful fall day!
Well, it could have been warmer!

Simply stunning

She kind of looked at me weird when I said, go pop a sqwat in the want to be wheat field.
And then she ended up liking them!

Her favorite place to get lost behind our house.

Favorite!!! I just love the bright gold with the dark blue sky and the pop of red from her sweater!

More of Becca's portfolio!

Wilson 70th Wedding Anniversary | Event Photographer Monroe Files Photography

70 years. SEVENTY years of being together with one person. I know a lot of young people are probably like, "Ew. Really? SEVENTY? That's a really LONG time. I don't know..."
But to those of us who are hopeless romantics...we hope. We hope that 70 years down the road from now, we still have our rock, our PERSON, to look back on all the things we've done together. =)

Linc was only 19 when they got married. Proof that young love does last!

A family member looking back through the years of Lincoln and Mildred.

70 years and still going strong! Everyone is ready to eat more cake at their 75th Anniversary!

And you thought you only cut wedding cake once in your life =)

*le sigh* There are no words for this =)

70 years and going strong!

Kalen is one! | Child Photographer Monroe Files Photography DuBois, PA

I met Kalen's Momma when she was in the bridal party of a wedding I photographed two years ago. Last year, I was surprised to see them as guests at a different wedding I photographed. Kalen's Daddy made the comment, "Where did Gabby go? And like a theft in the night she snuck around snapping pictures!" LOL! Kalen was just a little tyke then and now he's working on his soccer skills and rocking the 'hawk!
The next David Beckham

What a sweet face!

Can't even handle the cute!! I bet this is what the Fonz looked like when he was one!

Typical boy, loving his cars!

For the record, Kalen made me WORK! This little guy was on to me from the second we pulled all his toys out of the car and put them in a heap in the grass. I'd run in front of him and he would do a 180 and start walking away. I pulled out all the stops trying to get him to smile. Not. Having. It. And here I thought I was the next Molly Shannon. Apparently, what works for a 2 month old, isn't quite to snuff when it comes to a one year old!

See more of Kalen!

Dog & Jonna Engagement | Engagement Photographer Monroe Files Photography DuBois, PA

Jonna works with my Mom at Perkins and heard my Mom and Becky talking about her wedding photos. After seeing Becky's awesome wedding album she decided to try some Monroe Files Photography magic on for size...and she wasn't disappointed!
Oh, and funny story. Jonna wanted waterfalls and me being bound and determined to find some, we ended up back Caledonia Pike. If you've ever been back there before you know there is little cell phone reception, lots of dirt roads and tons of confusion. SO easy to get lost back there. Long story short, life happened and their car wouldn't start once we were 20 minutes into the trip. We were lost so we parked real quick and that was it. I believe they ended up getting the car started and out of there about two hours later. I got lost on my way out and didn't get home until an hour later. Needless to say...never again!! Unless we have a tour guide =)
Love, love, love! How cute are these two??

Oooh eemmm gee! Turn down the heat!
This fits them so well. They both LOVE to mud bog! Nothing earns a guys respect like a girl kicking it like one of the guys...or even better, show them up!

Nothing better than a sweet quiet moment together.

Favorite!!
See the rest of their adventure!

Kephart Wedding | Wedding Photographer Monroe Files Photography DuBois, PA

I actually met Doug and Megan at a mutal friend's wedding. As it turns out, Megan was about a week behind me in my pregnancy annnnd another couple across the table from us was 6 months pregnant and didn't find out until a week later! (Ooops! Suprise!!) Being the facebook nut that I am, I found everyone that sat with us and Megan and I have become pretty close thanks to swapping lots of stories about our daughters =)
The love these two have for each other is amazing. I can't tell you how many times that day seeing these two together you just get that fairy tale ending heart squeeze.

Beautiful. Maybe even more so since she's carrying lillies!

Simply gorgeous.

Precious Miss Ryleigh, I would take her home to be Lily's sister any day! I just love her =)

Umm, hello handsome! Back off ladies, he is ALLLL Megan's!

This is what I love about little churches, they have so much character and are so charming.
The woodwork was so neat. On the ceiling were "bricks" with names carved into each one.

The day was extra special...Ryleigh got baptised too!

=) So much affection and the bare foot totally makes it!
Check out the rest of their day!

Gay Wedding | Wedding Photographer Monroe Files Photography DuBois, PA

Even though Heather and Noel have only been married about 6 months, they have been through a LOT since saying "I do". Sometimes the bad times sneak up on you but rest assured there is still plenty of time to get fun and happiness in there! My heart goes out to you both as you deal with the recent death in the family and other issues. Your family and friends are sending lots of love and prayers your way! Let's take a look back on the day you married your best friend (and we weren't snow and ice covered!)
This was my idea. I wasn't totally sure that Heather and Noel would be on board for a sunflower patch but Heather was super excited (and obviously me too!!) I hadn't seen the sunflower patch in a few years so once we crested the hill the sight took my breath away! Sunflowers as far as the eye can see, just a carpet of yellow on the side of a soft rolling hill!

How gorgeous is some bling blanketed in red rose petals?

Landon was quite the character. I nearly laughed out loud during the ceremony. Why, you ask? He walked down the aisle with the lovely flower girl and the last 3 feet he was running....Daddy had an unwrapped lollipop awaiting!

The pipes in the church are awesome! So striking.
I love the contrast between the pipes and all the first kiss action.

LOTS of bubbles! And it was SOOOOO hot that day! I commend all the groomsmen. I don't know how they managed in tuxes, I was melting in my outfit and it wasn't any where close to being as stuffy as a tux.

I could say so much about this picture (like how awesome everyone looked!) but take a look down in front by the flower girl. Bahahaha!! LOVE IT!

=)

Beautiful, beautiful bride!

Check out the reception!
